SWENSON PORTFOLIO: Heart Of The Beholder Movie Promo
Director Ken Tipton wanted to take the movie poster for his indie film Heart of the Beholder and turn it into an animated flash piece including sound clips and a soundtrack to go with it. I decided to make it like a jigsaw being put together in front of your eyes and each character represented a piece.
The original poster was done in photoshop so I simply took apart and exported all the pieces I wanted and animated them. The hardest part was synching them up with the sound clips so the movements all fit and then ending the piece within the timeframe of the music.
Director Ken Tipton has been a terrificly generous guy as well as Darlene Lieblich in offering me the opportunity to work on promo pieces for their film. I recommend renting a copy as it is now being distributed through mainstream channels. The movie is based on a true story of censorship in your local video store and the bankrupting of an entire video store chain through threats and harrassment.
