JUNIOR HIGH MASSACRE, ROUND-HEADED KID

Sept 19th, 2008 – 4 killed, 24 injured in a shooting rampage at Beethoven High. Video was taken of the aggressor pacing back and forth in front of a classroom window muttering, “They won’t call me ‘Blockhead’ any more.”
The morning started normal enough. Kids filed into the school and attended their first period. One child was late but was not noticed. It was later revealed that even during homeroom roll call that the child’s absence was not noticed. If someone had, a tragedy might have been prevented.
The dog was dead before 2nd period. In his blog the shooter mentioned how he never received any respect from “man’s best friend.” Instead of bringing out his usual bowl of food, he brought bullets. Neighbors dismissed hearing the shots but reported a small yellow bird that beat on their doors several times and then frantically flew away.
With his dog dead and nothing to stop him, the round-headed kid walked on. He stopped two blocks down at a park and inexplicably sawed down a tree. Next he entered Beethoven High with his sawed off shotgun and proceeded to shoot two girls, one exclaiming something about her naturally curly hair before expiring. The second girl was wounded with a badly aimed shot to the shoulder and instead of playing dead told the shooter, “Can’t you do anything right.” That provoked the round-headed kid to hit her over the head repeatedly with the butt of his gun. The girl is now recovering in the emergency room. The blood had begun to pour.
Rounding the corner, the shooter entered music class immediately attracting attention and stopping band practice. He picked his victim out from the crowd, a blond-haired male piano player. Before delivering the fatal load, he swore, “F**k Beethoven.” The victim, not fearing for his own life, shook his fist in anger, and then was dead from a shot to the head. The shooter unloaded a second round into the tiny piano before he left the room. The other classmates evacuated out of the window followed by the anxious teacher who was having trouble talking with a distorted voice that no one could understand.
Before long, the round-headed kid was in the cafeteria searching for his next victim. Unlike other school shootings he seemed to know precisely who he wanted. She wasn’t there. He looked outside on the track and field and found her. Her small side business was active during lunch recess. Before pulling his gun up to her face he demanded all his money back. She refused and berated him–”without mercy,” said bystanders. She went through his past, his inadequecies, his dating failures, his grade failures, and especially his sports failures. References to a football came up several times. It was at this point that he shot her in the mouth and set her booth on fire. Nearby children ran for the parking lot. He re-entered the school and still muttering about the football shot at anyone in the halls. Several children were wounded as everyone made for the exit.
His last moments were in his homeroom pacing past the open window. A shot by a sniper brought him down instantly, his head an easy target. Swat teams had surrounded the school only minutes earlier and moved in. The shooter’s last words were reported to be, “I did it for the red-headed girl.”
Parents and the media have since asked why? The only clue might be from one of the few friends the shooter had, a self-described modern day philosopher who is known for pulling Biblical verses out of context and applying them to a present situation. He said of his friend: “He was like Paul changing back into Saul and in the end I blame it all on Rock Music.”
